Everest Elevation at Bobbo East
On Saturday the 13th of June, I'll be riding the equivalent elevation of Mount Everest (8,848 metres of climbing) up and down Bobbin Head East in support of The Fred Hollows Foundation. This will between 45-60 climbs, depending on what each ascent measures (+ the Strava tax).
What I love about The Fred Hollows Foundation is that their work doesn't just happen overseas - They do such important work in Australia, working with rural and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to improve access to quality eye care and help prevent avoidable vision loss.
9/10 people who are blind or vision impaired don't need to be. A relatively simple intervention can restore sight and completely change the course of someone's life.
