You can volunteer for The Fred Hollows Foundation at one of our events or in our office to help make a difference to the lives of millions of people around the world. Sydney Harbour Hike

The Fred Hollows Foundation is proud to announce that Sydney Harbour Hike is back on Sunday, 13 October!

Sydney Harbour Hike is an iconic 34km walk from Bondi to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, taking you along Sydney’s stunning harbour foreshore.

We are looking for a team of volunteers to make this event run smoothly.

As a volunteer you will receive the following benefits:

  • Official Volunteer T-shirt
  • Food and drink on the day
  • Certificate of appreciation (signed by Gabi Hollows)
  • Lots of fun and satisfaction helping an amazing charity

Volunteer in our office

Most of The Foundation’s volunteers join us at our Sydney office to help in a variety of ways that contribute to our sight restoring work. Volunteers work on a range of activities such as sorting mail, assisting with promotional and marketing material, preparing for events and appeal campaigns. Anyone over 16 can volunteer with us and it's a great way to meet new people and experience working for a NGO.
