Volunteer for Fred

Become a volunteer at The Fred Hollows Foundation at one of events or in our office to help make a difference to the lives of millions across the world. Bring along your friends, family and colleagues to join in the fun and be part of transforming lives to people who need our help most.

The Fred Hollows Foundation recognises that volunteers are a crucial part of smooth running and success of the event and in the office, thank you so much for your support.

Coastrek is an annual trekking challenge along some of the most beautiful coastlines in Australia in teams of four (with at least two women!). Trekkers undertake a 12 week fitness program culminating in an adventure that provides camaraderie, fitness, fun and a significant community contribution to The Foundation.

Volunteer in our office

Most of The Foundation’s volunteers join us at our Sydney office to help in a variety of ways that contribute to our sight restoring work. Volunteers work on a range of activities such as sorting mail, assisting with promotional and marketing material, preparing for events and appeal campaigns. Anyone over 16 can volunteer with us and it's a great way to meet new people and experience working for a NGO.
