Why am I doing this?
The last two year have been really tough for so many people. Bushfires, COVID19, financial stress, exams and ongoing uncertainty for our future!
But I think we all realise that one of the best ways to bring joy, gratitude and mental health to our own lives is to give, help, assist and contribute to the lives of others.
So I've chosen to make this event all about raising money for The Fred Hollows Foundation. This is an incredible charity and one that helps those in the greatest need within the principles of effective altruism.
I couldn't believe that just $25 is all that is needed to give sight to another human being!
