How lucky we are to have so many blessings in our lives, all the more I appreciate the simple things in live as I approach my 40th birthday.
We come to a stage in our lives where we have everything we could need and want; our family, our friends, our health. We have traveled the world and see so many beautiful sites. We have been to the theater and seen productions that leave us in awe and inspired. We have watched as our children have taken their first steps. Watched our friends get married and become parents too.
There's not much more that I could ask for, other than to give the gift of sight to those who are not as lucky as us, who cannot see what we have been lucky to see.
