* I believe mum supported Fred Hollows Foundation previously, as they support the remote areas she & dad loved to travel through so much. On each of our trips she donated to the health / welfare groups at markets etc
* Fred ( an apparently straight talking guy who would have appealed to dad) started his work ( & is buried there) in Bourke where Leigh now works.
* Having now had 4 eye operations to restore then further save my eye sight ( including 1 cataract surgery which both mum & dad also had) its a terrible fate to be blind when a 15 minute ($25 in some countries) could have restored your ability for independence & contribution
