The Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest

Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest is an iconic West Australian open water swimming event, challenging swimmers to cross the Rottnest Channel from Leighton Beach to Wadjemup/Rottnest Island. It is also one of the three prestigious swims that make up the Australian Triple Crown of open water swimming.
The event offers two distances — the 19.7km direct crossing and the 25km Ultra Marathon. The 19.7km crossing can be completed as a Solo swimmer, Duo, or in a Team of 3, 4 or 6.
For those looking for an even bigger challenge, the 25km Ultra Marathon is open to qualified Solo swimmers. The course begins with an additional 5km loop north towards Cottesloe and back before joining the direct route across to Wadjemup/Rottnest Island.
The 25km ultramarathon is open to qualified solo swimmers. It is the longest open water swim in Australia and one of the longest in the Southern Hemisphere.
