Run La Trobe is back and bigger than ever in 2026.
Taking place on Friday 25 September at La Trobe University’s Bundoora Campus, Run La Trobe brings people together for a morning of movement, energy, and connection. Participants can choose from a 5km Walk, 5km Run, 10km Run, or Kids 1km Fun Run, with the event designed for everyone from first-time participants through to seasoned runners chasing a PB. With a vibrant event atmosphere, entertainment, and plenty happening across the event precinct, September 25th is your chance to Run La Trobe.

The Ocean Grove Running Festival is set to make its debut in 2026, bringing an exciting new running event to Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula.
Starting and finishing at the Ocean Grove Hotel on Sunday, 22 November 2026, the festival will offer runners a fun, welcoming and professionally organised race-day experience. Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on a new challenge, or simply enjoying a run with friends and family, there's a distance for everyone.
Designed for runners of all abilities, the event combines flat, enjoyable courses with a vibrant event atmosphere, friendly volunteers, well-stocked aid stations and a lively finish precinct where participants can celebrate their achievement.
The weekend features a variety of events to suit all ages and fitness levels, including a 21.1km Half Marathon, 10km Run, 5km Run and 1km Kids Race.
All finishers will receive a commemorative finisher's medal, making the Ocean Grove Running Festival a fantastic addition to the Victorian running calendar.

Choose your challenge: the fast and flat 5.5K, the scenic 9.5K, or the Kids Dash - each offering breathtaking views over Bass Strait and Port Phillip Bay. We’re excited to return to our iconic Quarantine Station start line, with free Portsea Twilight caps for all 5.5K and 9.5K runners, and finisher medals for every Kids Dash participant.

Held annually in late April, the Ballarat Marathon is a two-day running festival, open to both elite and recreational athletes.
Our event showcases one of regional Australia’s most beautiful and historic cities and promotes health and wellbeing across the community.

Mornington Running Festival 2027

The Mornington Running Festival returns to Mornington Peninsula for the 12th time on the 2nd May, 2027 weekend.
Set in what is one of Australia's most stunning courses to run, winding along the esplanade from Mornington to Mt Martha and back. This unique experience to run or walk along this road free from traffic is unmissable.
The weekend features a variety of running & walking events to suit all ages and fitness levels.
All finishers receive a finishers medal and a free donut.
Rosebud Running Festival 2027 (Mornington)

Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and 1km Kids Race
The event will be conducted on both road and bay trail!
The newest running event on the Mornington Peninsula is the Rosebud Running Festival and will take place again on Sunday 6 June 2027. The course will cover sections along the foreshore trails (Bay trail) with runners being able to enjoy running through some stunning landscapes with Port Phillip Bay as the backdrop. The course will take competitors from the Start/Finish line at Rosebud to McCrae and back to Rosebud for the 5km and 10km events. The Marathon + Half Marathon competitors will continue past the start line at Rosebud and head towards Capel Sound with the turnaround just before the Rye Pier and back past finish line at Rosebud and head towards McCrae Boat Ramp and back again to finish line. The weekend features a variety of running & walking events to suit all ages and fitness levels. All finishers receive a finishers medal.

Participants will enjoy a stunning seaside backdrop, fresh coastal air, and a safe, well-supported race environment.
The festival offers a unique opportunity for elite athletes chasing personal bests and fun run enthusiasts looking for an unforgettable winter race experience on the Surf Coast.

Our newest event on the fun run calendar is the Frankston Running Festival. This will be an out and back course with the start/finish line at Frankston Waterfront (Frankston Pier) to Keast Park Seaford on Sunday 14 November 2027.
This will be an opportunity for elite athletes and fun run enthusiasts to have a unique experience running along a traffic-free Nepean Highway with the unmissable and stunning backdrop of Port Phillip Bay.
The weekend features a variety of running & walking events to suit all ages and fitness levels. All finishers receive a finishers medal.
