Since 1985 people from all over have been travelling to Tasmania's scenic North West coast every October for the famous Burnie 10.
Widely regarded as the premier 10km road race in Australia, its evolved to now be known as Australia's Premier Community Running Event.
So whether you're coming for the scenery, the tourist destination, a running weekend away or a personal best, we'll see you on October 25.

Elders Point to Pinnacle & Brooks Point to Pub 2026

This year sees the 31st running of the Point to Pinnacle with 3200 people taking on the mountain, up to 2000 racing to the Pub, and hopefully, more record fundraising totals.
This is the 15th year P2P has opened fundraising to participants. Fundraising is an optional but encouraged part of your Point to Pinnacle & Point to Pub experiences and is a great way to help someone else overcome their personal mountains while you train and take on yours.
We are extremely proud that over the last 14 years we have collectively raised over $5.9 million across a range of charities and foundations.
It is easy to see what an amazing and positive difference we can all make to others if we help raise much needed funds for a cause close to our hearts.
We encourage you to raise as much as you possibly can, encourage others to get involved in raising funds and we hope to collectively raise over $1 million in 2026.
Hobart Marathon Festival 2027

The Hobart Marathon Festival is set along the spectacular Constitution Dock, Derwent River and Salamanca Wharves, runners and fans will be beguiled by the charming, contrasting blend of heritage, scenery and culture nestled amongst world- class attractions throughout the 2 lap course. With picturesque waterways, pristine bushland, rugged mountains, captivating history and a world- class gourmet & cultural scene, runners will be enamoured by all this great city has to offer.
With five distances on offer: Full Marathon - 42.2km | Half Marathon - 21.1km | 10km | 5km run & 5km walk | 2km Fun run and walk. Everyone has an opportunity to experience the thrill of crossing the finish line with Hobart's iconic waterfront as the backdrop.
