Sparke Helmore Newcastle City Triathlon 2025

The 32nd Annual Sparke Helmore Newcastle City Triathlon
Join us for one of Australia’s most picturesque triathlons, staged from Camp Shortland at Nobbys Beach on Newcastle Harbour. Take part as an individual or in a 2–3 person relay team across a range of events:
• Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 21km cycle, 5km run
• Enticer Triathlon: 375m swim, 10.5km cycle, 2.5km run
• Junior Triathlons: distances tailored for ages 7–12
With the foreshore packed with supporters and the atmosphere electric, this event is a true highlight on the Newcastle sporting calendar.

On Sunday, February 1, participants in the world's biggest ocean swim, the Cole Classic, will dive into the waters off Manly for 1km, 2km, 5km, and - making its debut in 2026 - a brand-new 10km course. The event kicks off at Shelly Beach and concludes at the iconic Manly Beach, right in front of the Manly Life Saving Club.
Since the Manly Life Saving Club took over operation of this iconic event, the Cole Classic has also achieved a remarkable fundraising milestone, raising more than $1 million to support vital community causes.

From 14-17 May 2026, the scenic and serene town of Katoomba in the heart of the stunning Blue Mountains, NSW, will once again welcome thousands of runners, spectators and support crew to Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB (UTA).
A trail running celebration like no other, and just a 90 minute drive from Sydney CBD, UTA is set in one of the most spectacular locations you can imagine. The Blue Mountains is in a world of its own, where you can lose yourself wandering in the charm of old town streets or get out and explore the variety of epic trails within minutes of the town centre.
Now the largest trail run in the Southern Hemisphere and second largest globally, UTA has developed over its 15-year history into an inclusive and iconic trail running festival across 4 incredible days.
