In 2027, the Cole Classic celebrates an incredible 45 years of ocean swimming, community and giving back.
On Sunday, 7 February, swimmers will once again come together at Manly for the world's biggest, and one of Australia’s most iconic ocean swims, taking on the 1km, 2km or 5km course from Shelly Beach to the finish line at Manly Beach, in front of Manly Life Saving Club.
At the heart of the Cole Classic is a community united by more than a love of the ocean. Since Manly Life Saving Club took over the event, Cole Classic swimmers have raised more than $1.3 million for charities and community causes, turning every stroke into an opportunity to make a difference.
As we celebrate our 45th year, we’re calling on our incredible community of swimmers, families, supporters and fundraisers to come together once again, take on the challenge and help make the 2027 Cole Classic our biggest year of impact yet.

From 13-16 May 2027, the scenic and serene town of Katoomba in the heart of the stunning Blue Mountains, NSW, will once again welcome thousands of runners, spectators and support crew to Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB (UTA).
A trail running celebration like no other, and just a 90 minute drive from Sydney CBD, UTA is set in one of the most spectacular locations you can imagine. The Blue Mountains is in a world of its own, where you can lose yourself wandering in the charm of old town streets or get out and explore the variety of epic trails within minutes of the town centre.

Fred's Big Run is the flagship event of The Fred Hollows Foundation.
Registrations is FREE and you can join from anywhere in the world. Run or walk 50km, 100km or 150km to restore sight.
