Alps 2 Ocean (New Zealand)

The Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail is world-famous for being the longest continuous cycling track through the picturesque landscapes of New Zealand. This journey leads riders through the iconic, breathtaking Alps of the South Island beginning from lake Tekapo. Rides will head through Twizel and Lake Ohau, down the Waitaki Valley and end at the spectacular, historical town of Oamaru by the Pacific Ocean. This once in a lifetime, adventure with heart is not to be missed! What sort of bike do I require? A gravel or mountain bike is recommended for the Alps2Ocean Classic. A road bike is not suitable for this ride. Fundraising required? Each rider must raise at least $1,000 AUD (Minimum fundraising) for one of our charity partners with a goal of $1,500 AUD per rider. If you do not reach the fundraising minimum, we ask that riders pay the difference to reach the minimum required.
