The Canberra Times Fun Run is back on 2 November 2025 - bringing determination, adrenaline, and inspiration to the streets of our capital.
Take on a fast, flat course past iconic landmarks like the Old and New Parliament Houses in your choice of four distances: the AIMS-certified Half Marathon and 10K, or the 5K and 2K Kids events. With pacers to guide you, it’s the perfect chance to hit a PB or complete your first race.
Post-run, unwind in the lively event village with entertainment, a kids zone, and great vibes all around.

We’re excited to announce that The Canberra Times Marathon Festival, presented by TCS, will take place over two action-packed days – Saturday, 11 April and Sunday, 12 April 2026!
This new two-day format will deliver an even better experience for runners and spectators alike. Saturday will feature the Runner’s World 10K, 5K, and Kids Dash, creating a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere, while Sunday will showcase premier events – the TCS Marathon (42.2K) and Half Marathon (21.1K) – giving those runners the spotlight they deserve on Canberra’s iconic closed roads.
With all distances AIMS-certified (excluding the Kids Dash), and over 14,000 participants expected, this is your chance to be part of something special. Plus, enjoy the 3-day Festival Expo from 10–12 April, packed with gear, giveaways, and inspiration.
