We’re excited to announce that The Canberra Times Marathon Festival, presented by TCS, will take place over two action-packed days – Saturday, 11 April and Sunday, 12 April 2026!

This new two-day format will deliver an even better experience for runners and spectators alike. Saturday will feature the Runner’s World 10K, 5K, and Kids Dash, creating a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere, while Sunday will showcase premier events – the TCS Marathon (42.2K) and Half Marathon (21.1K) – giving those runners the spotlight they deserve on Canberra’s iconic closed roads.

With all distances AIMS-certified (excluding the Kids Dash), and over 14,000 participants expected, this is your chance to be part of something special. Plus, enjoy the 3-day Festival Expo from 10–12 April, packed with gear, giveaways, and inspiration.

Fred's Big Run is the flagship event of The Fred Hollows Foundation. 

Registrations is FREE and you can join from anywhere in the world. Run or walk 50km, 100km or 150km to restore sight.
