The Canberra Times Fun Run is back on 1 November 2026 - bringing determination, adrenaline, and inspiration to the streets of our capital.
Take on a fast, flat course past Canberra's iconic landmarks in your choice of four distances: the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K or the Kids Dash. With pacers to guide you, it’s the perfect chance to hit a PB or complete your first race.
Post-run, unwind in the lively event village with entertainment, a kids zone, and great vibes all around.

The Canberra Times Marathon Festival takes place over two action-packed days on Saturday, 10 April and Sunday, 11 April 2027.
Saturday features the Runner's World 10K, Charterpoint 5K, and Kids Dash, creating a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. On Sunday, the spotlight turns to the festival's premier events – the Marathon (42.2K) and Half Marathon (21.1K) – with runners taking on Canberra's iconic closed roads.
More than 12,000 participants are expected to take part across the weekend. Runners and supporters can also explore the 3-day Festival Expo from 9–11 April, featuring the latest running gear, giveaways, and inspiration from leading brands.
Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on your first event, or soaking up the festival atmosphere, the Canberra Times Marathon Festival offers an unforgettable running experience in the nation's capital.
