Help Little Zaviyan See and Save Our Family

By Wahab Munir

Restore sight as a present

My name is Wahab Munir, and I am reaching out to you not just as a father, but as a man fighting two battles at once. My young son, Zaviyan Khan, is fighting a rare condition called Congenital Glaucoma.

We have already pushed through four surgeries, but our journey is far from over. Doctors have informed us that Zaviyan’s treatment must continue for the next 10 years to manage the pressure in his eyes. Even more daunting is the news that after these ten years of treatment, he will likely require a cornea transplant to fully restore and protect his vision.

A Family Under Pressure

While I want to be Zaviyan's protector, my own health has made it nearly impossible. Having recently undergone open-heart surgery, I am still dealing with chronic heart disease. This has left me jobless and without any income. To save my son's eyes so far, I had to take out loans of 6 Lakhs (600,000 PKR)—a debt that hangs over our heads while we try to prepare for a decade of medical care.

Why We Need Your Help

Zaviyan is only at the beginning of a 10-year medical marathon. We are asking for your support to help us:

  • Clear the 6 Lakh Debt: Relieve the immediate burden of the loans taken for his first four surgeries.

  • Support Long-term Care: Help us afford the constant medications and check-ups required over the next 10 years.

  • Prepare for the Future: Build a foundation so that when the time comes for his cornea transplant, he has the resources to receive the best care possible.

Your kindness is the only way we can keep the lights on for Zaviyan. Please help a father who is struggling to provide, and a son who just wants to see the world clearly.
