Mindfulness Circle

Making a difference

Hi, my name is Thuy. I am the founder of The Mindfulness Circle Project where I run weekly mindfulness circle in Coolangatta, Gold Coast. My intention is to create an authentic and grounded space where people come together in a spirit of openness, acceptance and wonder to connect and share in a deeper and more open way than what is usually available in day to day life. Where we can feel safe to laugh and cry and be seen in our vulnerability.

The mindfulness circle is run by donation with all contributions going directly toward covering the circle's expenses and the rest will be donated to The Fred Hollows Foundation to help their mission to end avoidable blindness.

Currently 43 million people around the world are blind but 9 out of 10 don't have to be. A simple procedure costing as little as $25 in most developing countries (including my home country, Vietnam) can help restore their sight and change their lives and the lives of their families and communities for ever. The Fred Hollows Foundation works to solve this by strengthening health systems and working with communities to improve their own eye health. So far, the Foundation has restored sight to more than 3 million people worldwide.

Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
