I'm fundraising for the Fred Hollows Foundation
Currently 43 million people around the world are blind but 9 out of 10 don't have to be!
A simple procedure costing as little as $25 in most developing countries can restore their sight and change their lives and the lives of their families and communities for ever!
I run at the Quick As Thieves event with Mike Toner on 25th November and together we raise money for The Fred Hollows Foundation so they are able to continue train and empower local eye doctors, nurses and health workers and create a sustainable system of care in the communities that need our help the most.
Their work has a very clear purpose: to make sure everyone, whether they’re rich or poor, has access to high quality, affordable eye health as we enjoy right here in this country.
Thank you for your support
Pushing myself to the limit
I’m pushing myself to the limit for a great cause.
Going through with the unhealthy pandemic lifestyle from 2020 to now. Being at my heaviest weight in July and coming from no athletic or running background, to now where I’m training for half a marathon and am able to run 10km, has been one of the biggest transformations in my life.
Not just physically but also mentally and emotionally, my life has changed for the better, I’m so motivated and glad I can do this for a great cause.
4 out of 5 people that are blind don’t have to be. So many are denied access to simple medical treatment because they are limited by money.
Im running this event with @quick_as_thieves to raise much needed
funds for the Fred Hollows Foundation, whose mission is to cure unnecessary blindness.
As little as $25 can completely restore someones eyesight ? , and every single dollar that is donated will have me more motivated to get through to the finish line ???? I have put the direct donation link in my Bio for anyone that’s willing to spare some money and help out.
