Vietnam Trip: Fundraising for Fred Hollows Foundation
Hi, I am Max Ramsden and I need your help!
In April, around 30 year 10 boys from Melbourne Grammar School will be travelling to Vietnam as part of our Values in Action program. We have all been working extremely hard to get the trip together through sausage sizzles at school to our own personal fundraising such as this.
I have chosen to raise money for The Fred Hollows Foundation because they help train and empower local eye doctors, nurses and health workers in Vietnam and create a sustainable system of care in the communities that need help the most.
Over 25 million people are needlessly blind on this planet but a simple procedure costing as little as $25 in Vietnam can restore their sight and change their lives for ever! Dontating just $2 can restore the sight of a needlessly blind child or adult!
Their work has a very clear purpose: to make sure everyone, whether they’re rich or poor, has access to high quality, affordable eye health as we enjoy right here in this country.
Please support me by giving generously, any support is greatly appreactiated
Thank you and know that you are supporting an incredible cause

Around 70% of people in Vietnam live in rural areas where problems caused by blindness often go untreated. 4 out of 5 people who are blind don't need to be - their blindness could have been prevented or can be treated. Currently around 1.4 million people are needing cataract surgery in Vietnam, so there's lots of work to be done.
Please support our efforts to give the gift of sight and change lives.
