JOIN THE FIGHT TO RESTORE SIGHT - A POEM BY MEL IN MELBOURNE

Hi guys!
As you know I love a good rhyme, so I’ve been inspired to write a little poem describing to you what this cause means to me.
Remember no donation is ever too small!

Imagine a world
In which you can’t see
I don’t know about you
But that terrifies me!

Seeing the light
Slowly fade to black
Knowing that in time
One of your senses you’ll lack

What if it were you
Losing your precious sight?
Couldn’t afford the medical help
Blindness....so unfair right?

Four out of every five
Are in fact avoidably blind
All it takes, a simple operation
Would ensure they’d be fine!

Fred gave more than sight
He was the future of hope
Lives and families changed
Now able to cope

We can all be advocates
And continue Fred’s vision
Where should we start?
With a simple decision....

So let’s all band together
And join in the fight
How amazing, collectively
We can provide the gift of sight!
